Hugo and Randy Visit My Work

Occasionally, my foster kittens get to come hang out at my office. My coworkers love it, since who wouldn't love cuddly, purring, adorable kittens?  And the kittens like all the attention, of course.

One thing these boys aren't too fond of is riding in the car. They take turns meowing and sticking their paws through the carrier door, and giving me super sad kitten eyes. Or maybe they REALLY like it, and meowing nonstop is their way of showing it. Regardless, they have to ride in the car to get to my office, and they like being at the office, so hopefully it's worth it.

Once they were set up in a room, they were ready to hang out and receive visitors. There's a big window so they can watch the outside world, two comfy chairs to sit on, and even a cat tower! I was expecting them to be playing a lot, but it seemed all they wanted to do was nap and purr. Which is still ok!

  1. love love love that you take your kittens to work too! I do it because I believe it helps socialize them more, and it makes their adoption a lot less of a trauma. I had one set of kittens that didn't leave my house until they went to get neutered and they all totally freaked out and stayed that way for days. Now I do my best to take them out of the house as often as safely I can while they are in my care
